About QC

QC stands for Quirky Creators, and the creators behind the quirkiness are Judy Brown and Shelly Hokanson! We founded QC in November 2021 starting with handcrafted cold-process soaps. To celebrate our 1 year anniversary in November 2022, we added handcrafted earrings to our shop, and we've got Judy's gorgeous crochet creations coming soon. We are makers at heart!

Judy lived in Fort Riley, Kansas when we started out, but has since joined Shelly in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, where the Quirky Creators business is based.

All of our soaps are formulated to be clean, preservative free, and cruelty free. Most are vegan (not containing animal products). Many are palm free; those that contain palm oil use only sustainably sourced palm oil. Use the tags on the site to find formulas that match your ingredient preferences or skin type.
